Japanese Photo Reporter May Have Disappeared Near Chechnya
It’s been several days since Japanese photo reporter disappeared somewhere between Georgia and Chechnya. Kosuke Tsuneoka, 32 from Nagasaki came to Georgia about two months ago. According to Russian mass media he intended to go to Chechnya from Georgia and interview the Chechen combatants. At the same time he had no accreditation from Russian officials in Chechnya.
The Georgian Foreign Ministry (MFA) representative said that the Japanese reporter stated “private visit” as a purpose of his entry to Georgian immigration officials. He was not accredited at the MFA of Georgia.
