Georgian PM Bidzina Ivanishvili said after meeting with Israeli ambassador in Tbilisi Yuval Fuchs on November 20, that rocket attacks on “Israeli territory should stop” and “peace restored.”

“We deeply regret about deaths of Israeli and Palestinian civilians. Situation should be defused as soon as possible… Israel, like any other sovereign state, has the right to defend its citizens from rocket attacks,” PM Ivanishvili said.

“For the peace process to start, bombardment of Israeli territory should be stopped as it is in no one’s interest in the region to keep the current situation,” PM Ivanishvili said.

Israeli ambassador, Yuval Fuchs, thanked the Georgian Prime Minister “for his understanding and support in this situation.”
