A session of the quadripartite Joint Control Commission (JCC) over South Ossetia will be held in Russia?s North Ossetian capital Vladikavkaz on October 12-13, the Office of the Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues reported on October 11.

This will be the second round of the JCC?s 51st session, which began in Moscow on August 17-18 and during which the Georgian, South Ossetian, Russian and North Ossetian sides failed to agree on ?key issues.? A number of previous attempts to hold the second round of talks were thwarted.

During the talks the sides will discuss the current situation in the South Ossetian conflict zone, along with issues related to the full-scale resolution of the conflict and the interaction between law enforcement agencies.
