Abkhazia to Unveil Privatization List

Abkhaz leader Sergey Bagapsh said on December 29 that Sokhumi will soon unveil a list of those enterprises and facilities which will be privatized by the unrecognized republic?s authorities, Apsnipress news agency reported.

?Privatization should be carried out based on tender. But there will be cases when only one buyer will propose its bid,? Bagapsh said.

He said that education and healthcare systems will be financed as a result of revenues received from the privatization.
