OSCE Delegation Visits Georgia

(Tbilisi. March 27, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Delegation of 24 ambassadors of the OSCE member states accredited to the organization pay fact-finding visit to Georgia on March 27-29.

Georgian Foreign Ministry reports the OSCE delegation will visit Chechen, Ingush and Dagestan sections of the Russo-Georgian borders, observed by the OSCE border monitoring missions.

The delegation will also pay visits to the Georgian breakaway regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

Meeting with the Georgian Foreign Minister Irakli Menagharishvili is scheduled for March 28.
