Construction of New Parliament in Kutaisi

Georgia’s Parliament will be relocated from Tbilisi to the country’s second-largest city of Kutaisi this year. Construction of the new building, designed by CMD Ingenieros, is currently ongoing in Kutaisi and should be completed by May 26 – deadline set by President Saakashvili who said that the Parliament should hold its first session in the new building on Georgia’s Independence Day.
