WWII Veterans Mark Victory Day
On May 9 Georgian veterans of the World War II gather in the park of Vake in downtown Tbilisi at the memorial of Unknown Soldier to mark the Victory Day over the Nazi Germany. As of now there are about 7,000 World War II veterans in Georgia, including 1,348 of them in the capital Tbilisi.
