Kokoity: No ‘Revolution’ Anticipated in South Ossetia

South Ossetian leader Eduard Kokoity said on January 14 that presidential elections, scheduled for November, 2006 in the unrecognized republic, will not turn into a ?rose? or ?orange? revolution.

?There are certain forces which are anticipating an ‘orange’ or ‘rose’ revolution in South Ossetia. But I want to disappoint them: this kind of scenario will fail here. But we should be ready for any provocation,? Kokoity told reporters on January 14.

He said that 2006 is an important year for South Ossetia ?and I am sure that our wise nation will pass this exam.?
