Zhvania’s Team Forms Parliamentary Faction

(Tbilisi, June 6, Civil Georgia) – Supporters of Zurab Zhvania form a new Parliamentary faction the Democrats. Today the official presentation of the faction will be held.

Approximately 25 MPs will form the new faction. All of them are the members of the Citizens’ Union of Georgia (CUG) faction.

Giorgi Baramidze, former Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security, will chair the faction.

New Parliamentary group will be the fifth, which separated from the former Parliamentary majority – CUG.
