Faction Leaders Consult on Parliamentary Posts’ Redistribution

(Tbilisi, May 11, Civil.ge) – Leaders of the Parliamentary factions meet Nino Burjanadze, Chairperson of the Parliament to consult concerning the redistribution of the Parliamentary posts on May 11.

On May 10 all the posts of the Parliamentary Committees became vacant, after the New Rights faction initiated discussion of the redistribution of the Parliamentary posts.

Members of the former majority – Citizens’ Union of Georgia faction, chaired the most of the Committees.

14 Parliamentary factions will have to redistribute the 16 Parliamentary Committees’ Chairmanship.
