Arsenishvili May Return on State Minister’s Post

(Tbilisi. December 14. Civil Georgia) – Unofficial reports say that ex-State Minister Gia Arsenishvili may be nominated on the State Minister’s post. Only the State and Environment Protection Ministers’ posts remain vacant in the cabinet so far.  

The most of the Parliamentary factions stated today that they would support Arsenishvili’s candidature in case the President will nominate him.

Gia Arsenishvili held this portfolio in the outgoing government, sacked by the President Shevardnadze on November 1, as the result of the mass protests.
