President Officially Submits Prosecutor-General’s Candidature

(Tbilisi. November 19. Civil Georgia) – As expected, on November 19 President Shevardnadze submitted to the Parliament candidature of Nugzar Gabrichidze for the post of the Prosecutor-General.

Gabrichidze – a high-ranking official of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – is the Head of the General Inspection of Georgia.

It is expected that Gabrichidze’s candidature will have problems with approval in the Parliament.
