Bloc Revival not to Support Old Ministers’ Candidatures

(Tbilisi. November 17. Civil Georgia) – The bloc Revival will not support none of the ex-ministers nominated on the ministerial posts by President Shevardnadze. Bloc members are meeting in Batumi, capital of Autonomous Republic of Adjara, to discuss their position towards the candidatures.

The factions Revival, United Georgia, XXI Centaury, Socialists and Traditionalists are united in the bloc. The Traditionalists does not participate in the meeting. The faction has different position and intends to support several persons from the old cabinet. Except the Traditionalists there are 48 MPs united in the bloc.

Most of the candidates the President proposed to the Parliament are the ex-ministers. The Parliament is for entire renewal of the cabinet.
