U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will visit Georgia and Ukraine on July 6-7 before traveling to Warsaw for the NATO summit.

In Tbilisi Secretary Kerry will meet Georgian PM Giorgi Kvirikashvili on July 6 for “bilateral discussions on a range of issues, including U.S. support for Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations and successful elections in October,” State Department Spokesperson John Kirby said.

He will then co-chair a plenary meeting of the U.S.-Georgia Strategic Partnership Commission, and hold meetings with President Giorgi Margvelashvili and leaders of opposition parties, according to the State Department.

Secretary Kerry will visit Ukraine on July 7 and will then accompany President Barack Obama to the Polish capital, which will host NATO summit on July 8-9.
