Georgian President, PM Express Condolences Over Russian Plane Crash in Egypt
President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili and PM Irakli Garibashvili offered their condolences to the families of victims of the crash of a Russian passenger airliner in Egypt on October 31.
“On behalf of the Georgian people, I express condolences and offer sympathy to the families of victims in this difficult time,” the Georgian President said in a statement.
The Georgian PM said in his statement: “I express my sincere condolences to the Russian people and offer sympathy to the families and friends of victims.”
The Airbus A321, operated by a Russian airline, flying from Sharm el-Sheikh to St. Petersburg and carrying 224 passengers and crew crashed in Egypt’s Sinai peninsula, killing all abroad.
