CEC: Number of Voters 3,429,748
Number of voters stands at 3,429,748, according to the data released by the Central Election Commission (CEC) on June 9.
This updated number of voters is 61,357 less compared to initial figure released in April by the CEC, which compiles the list based on data provided by the state services development agency of the Ministry of Justice. The figure stood at 3,537,719 ahead of last year’s presidential election and at 3,613,851 ahead of 2012 parliamentary elections.
Kutaisi is the largest constituency with 153,537 voters, followed by Tbilisi’s Samgori and Gldani districts with 132,697 and 132,358 voters, respectively. The smallest constituencies are Kazbegi, a mountainous district in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region with 5,242 voters and Lentekhi in mountainous Racha-Lechkhumi region with 5,916 voters.
