Georgia, Jordan Agree to Cooperate in Emergency Management
Georgia and Jordan signed an agreement on cooperation in civil defense and crisis management during Georgian Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili’s visit to Amman on December 15.
Merabishvili said in televised comments aired by Rustavi 2 TV on Saturday that Georgia and Jordan were also planning to sign a visa-free travel agreement.
Jordanian Interior Minister, Mohammad Al Raoud, said the new agreement would help to further boost “strong and distinguished relations” between the two countries, the daily Jordan Times reported.
