Austrian Foreign Minister Visits Georgia

Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger arrived in Georgia on a two-day official visit on June 24.

He has already met with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze, where “the sides discussed a broad range of bilateral and multilateral relations, underlined the importance of enhancement of political, economic and cultural relations between Georgia and Austria,” according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry. 

During the visit the Austrian Foreign Minister will also meet with President Saakashvili and Prime Minister Nika Gilauri.

Michael Spindelegger, who arrived in Tbilisi from Baku, is accompanied by the representatives from 40 Austrian business companies, who will participate in the Georgian-Austrian business forum, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
