Parliament Takes Break Ahead of Elections
Parliament adjourned on April 27, citing that lawmakers, mainly those elected in single-mandate, majoritarian constituencies, will be occupied by campaigning ahead of May 30 local elections.
A parliamentary session may be convened before the local elections only "in case of urgent necessity," according to the amendment to the parliamentary regulations, passed on April 27.
