Bakradze Visits France

Georgian Parliamentary Chairman Davit Bakradze met with Chairman of French Senate Gérard Larcher in frames of his working visit to France, the Georgian parliament’s press office said on April 7.

Bakradze also met with Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Defense and Armed Forces.

The situation on Georgia’s occupied territories and security issues, including the necessity to fulfill the August 12 ceasefire agreement were discussed during the meetings, according to the Georgian parliament’s press office.

The issues of Georgian-French military cooperation were also discussed, according to the same report.
