OSCE Kazakh Chairman-in-Office Visits Georgia

Kanat Saudabayev, the Kazakh foreign minister and OSCE new chairman-in-office, arrived in Georgia on February 17 as a part of his South Caucasian tour.

Kanat Saudabayev has already held talks with the representatives of opposition parties. Opposition representatives said after the meeting that upcoming elections and security issues were discussed. 

He will also meet with Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze and Parliamentary Chairman Davit Bakradze.

Saudabayev is paying his first visit in the capacity of chair of 56-member organization to South Caucasus countries to discuss “protracted conflicts.” Before arriving in Tbilisi he visited Armenia and Azerbaijan.
