Bagapsh Visits Moscow

Less than a week after being inaugurated as the president of breakaway Abkhaz, Sergey Bagapsh, left for Moscow on February 16 for “an official visit” to meet with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

During the two-day visit Bagapsh will also meet with Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, Kirill, Abkhaz news agency, Apsnipress, reported. 

An agreement on air traffic treaty between Moscow and Sokhumi will be signed during the visit.
