New Head of President’s Administration Appointed
Chief of the presidential security service, Temur Janashia, was appointed as new head of President’s administration, replacing Ekaterine Sharashidze.
Sharashidze will be President’s economic advisor and “coordinator of the economic team and will continue working on attracting foreign investments,” Manana Manjgaladze, president’s new spokesperson, said on November 25.
New head of the administration joined security structures in 1994 and became the president’s chief bodyguard in 2004.
