National Forum Considering Action Plan

National Forum, one of the key opposition parties behind the ongoing protests, said it was still considering on its action plan and would announce its decision on May 28.

Although the party participated in a large scale opposition rally on the national stadium on May 26, but it refused to take part in the event in the capacity of an organizer citing differences on the tactics with some other opposition parties.

The party leaders were planning to head to the provinces from May 27 to launch a campaign there but a spokeswoman of the National Forum told Civil.Ge on Wednesday that the party leadership was still considering about the tactics and would make a statement on Thursday.

Leader of the National Forum, Kakha Shartava, was among those four politicians who were selected by the opposition parties to meet with President Saakashvili on May 11.
