Abkhaz Deputy Interior Minister Shot Dead

Zakan Jugelia, deputy interior minister of breakaway Abkhazia, was shot dead in Sokhumi in the evening on January 26, the Abkhaz news agency, Apsnipress, reported.

An unknown gunman fired two shots at Jugelia while the latter was sitting in a cafe in the center of the breakaway region’s capital.
