Bakradze to Announce Plans on Election Code Reform

Parliamentary Chairman, Davit Bakradze, is expected to announce about the plans to set up a group that will work on election system reform at a news conference on December 15.

Bakradze said last week that the plan was to have a reformed election code by spring, 2009. He, however, also stressed that the reform did no way mean that early parliamentary elections would be held by spring, 2009.
