U.S. Warship Arrives in Poti

USS Barry (DDG-52), a guided missile destroyer, arrived in the Georgian port of Poti on October 18.

Three U.S. warships delivered humanitarian aid to Georgia in August and early September. USS Barry, however, carries no humanitarian aid and officials said it was “a routine, friendly visit.” The warship will remain in Poti till October 20.
