MPs Discuss Draft Law on Occupied Territories
Georgian lawmakers have begun discussion of a draft law on the occupied territories.
The law, if passed by Parliament, will formally give Abkhazia and South Ossetia occupied territory status.
Davit Bakradze, the parliamentary chairman, said on September 22 that the law would impose restrictions in particular on real estate deals and investments in the two regions.
