Saakashvili, Solana to Meet in Brussels

Javier Solana, the EU foreign policy chief, will meet with President Saakashvili in Brussels on June 19.

“The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss EU-Georgia relations and the latest developments in Georgia and the Caucasus in general,” Solana’s press office reported on Wednesday.

This will be the second meeting between Solana and Saakashvili in less than two weeks. The EU foreign policy chief visited Georgia on June 5-6. He also visited breakaway Abkhazia at the time.
