Georgia Condemns Terrorist Acts in North Ossetia, Moscow

The Georgian Foreign Ministry expressed today its ?extreme concern? over the terrorist acts in Russia?s capital, Moscow on August 31 and hostage-taking in Russia?s North Ossetian Republic on September 1.
 
Gunmen attackers seized a school in a Beslan city of North Ossetia and held hostages, reportedly including at least 120 children.


The assault came a day after a suicide bomber killed 10 people in Moscow. 
 
?The Georgian Foreign Ministry categorically condemns any acts of terrorism, moreover when the children become the victims of terrorism,? the Georgian Foreign Ministry says in a statement issued on September 1.
 
The Georgian Foreign Ministry presented condolence to the families of the victims and expressed support to the right of the Ossetian people to live in a peaceful, safe and stable environment.
