Bush, Putin Discuss Georgia
Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President George W. Bush discussed the current situation in Georgia during a telephone conversation on October 2, according to the Russian President?s press office.
?While discussing the situation in Georgia, the Russian side stressed that any kind of action by a third party that might be interpreted by the Georgian leadership as encouragement of their destructive policy is inadmissible and poses a danger towards peace and stability in the region,? the Russian President?s press office said in a statement.
