Russian Spy Suspects Appear in Tbilisi Court

Four Russian military officers have appeared in Tbilisi City Court for a preliminary hearing.

The officers were officially charged with espionage against Georgia on September 29, and now face two-months of pre-trial custody pending investigation of their case.

The preliminary hearing will be closed to the public.

11 citizens of Georgia, also arrested on September 27, face similar charges.
