Azerbaijan Reschedules Georgia’s Debt
Georgian Finance Minister Lexo Alexishvili signed an agreement on August 18 with his Azeri counterpart Samir Sharifov to reschedule repayment of Georgia’s USD 13,4 million debt.
Georgia will have to repay about USD 2 million by the end of 2006, while the rest will be repaid starting from 2011 within 14 years, according to the agreement, the Georgian Finance Ministry reported.
