U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary Visits Georgia
U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Matthew Bryza arrived in Tbilisi to hold talks with the Georgian leadership, the U.S. Embassy to Tbilisi reported on July 30.
U.S. support for Georgia?s democratic reforms, the peaceful resolution of South Ossetian and Abkhaz conflicts and Georgia?s integration into Euro-Atlantic structures will be discussed during talks with President Saakashvili, Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli, Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze, Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili and other officials, say officials at the U.S. Embassy.
