South Ossetian Leader, Russian Official Meet in Moscow

South Ossetian leader Eduard Kokoity held talks with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Denisov in Moscow on July 28, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
 
The sides discussed current developments in the South Ossetian conflict zone and ?analyzed the prospects for advancing the negotiating process towards the peaceful resolution of conflict.?
 
Denisov and Kokoity stressed the need ?to search for effective decisions? in the frames of the quadripartite negotiating body Joint Control Commission (JCC) over the South Ossetia conflict, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
