Lavrov Warns Georgia against Use of Force

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on July 28 that there are signs indicating that the Georgian authorities intend to solve the secessionist conflicts through the use of force, Russian agencies reported on July 28.
 
“I think that the Georgian authorities have no chances to settle these problems by force,? the Russian Foreign Minister said. 

President Saakashvili reiterated on July 27 that Georgia is committed to solving conflicts peacefully.

?Georgia is not planning any confrontation. Georgia plans to continue the peace process with new peace initiatives,? he said.
