Tbilisi, Moscow Discuss Kodori Developments

Georgian State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Merab Antadze and Deputy Foreign Minister Valerie Chechelashvili held a phone conversation with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Denisov over the ongoing police operation in upper Kodori Gorge on July 27, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
 
According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the sides expressed hope that strengthening order and the rule of law in the Kodori gorge will facilitate a full-scale political settlement of the conflict in Abkhazia.
