Patarkatsishvili’s Death Referred to Major Crimes Unit – Sky TV

The sudden death of tycoon Badri Patarkatsishvili is being investigated by a major crime investigation team, Sky TV reported.

Earlier, police in Surrey, Britain said: “As with all unexpected deaths it is being treated as suspicious.”

Sky News’ home affairs correspondent said: “The police want to leave no stone uncovered. In the light of [Alexander] Litvinenko’s death in 2006 they are treating it very seriously and want to investigate properly to rule out foul play or to find out whether he was the subject of a hit.”
