Lithuania, Poland Support Georgia’s NATO Integration
The presidents of Lithuania and Poland, Valdas Adamkus and Lech Kaczynski, respectively, reiterated their support for Georgia’s NATO integration at a meeting in Vilnius on February 1.
“Both leaders emphasized the need to promote a closer relationship between Georgia and NATO and reiterated their support for Georgia’s aspirations for integration into Euro-Atlantic structures,” the Lithuanian president’s press office said.
Both presidents were in Tbilisi on January 20 at President Saakashvili’s inauguration.
