200,000 New Jobs Needed to Overcome Poverty ? PM

The creation of 200,000 new jobs is needed to overcome poverty in Georgia, Prime Minister Lado Gurgenidze said on January 17.

?Each new job needs between USD 25,000 to USD 50,000 in investment,? Gurgenidze said on a Rustavi 2 TV talk show. ?It means investing from USD 10 to USD 20 billion to meet that target? That is what we need to achieve it in the next five years.?

?This investment will definitely come to Georgia if we can maintain stability. The second important thing is to continue the pace of economic reforms.?
