President of Turkmenistan Expected at Inauguration

Along with the presidents of the Baltic States, Poland and Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan?s leader, Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov, will attend the inauguration of the Georgian president, officials said on January 12.

Mikheil Saakashvili, who according to the Central Election Commission (CEC), was re-elected, said Berdymukhammedov?s attendance would be ?very, very important.?

The inauguration will be held either on January 20 or 21, acting President Nino Burjanadze said on January 12.
