New Member of Constitutional Court Approved

Lali Papiashvili’s nomination to the Constitutional Court was approved by Parliament on December 28.

Papiashvili, a lawmaker from the ruling party and former deputy chairperson of the parliamentary committe on human rights, is believed to be a close associate of acting President Nino Burjanadze.
