Saakashvili Visits S.Ossetian Conflict Zone
President Saakashvili was in the South Ossetian conflict zone on August 30.
In the Georgian-administered village of Tamarasheni, a kilometer from the breakaway South Ossetian capital, Tskhinvali, Saakashvili attended the opening of an amusement park.
He said that the Georgian authorities were resolute to continue rehabilitation process in the region.
Saakashvili said that an average salary for teachers in the conflict zone will increase to GEL 200 within next one month.
Saakashvili described South Ossetian secessionist leader, Eduard Kokoity, as ?bandit? and said that secessionist authorities? ?window of opportunity is narrowing.?
Dimitri Sanakoev, the head of the Tbilisi-backed South Ossetian provisional administration, accompanied President Saakashvili.
