OSCE Chair’s Envoy for Missile Incident Visits Georgia
Miomir Zuzul, the special representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos, is in Georgia to look into the circumstances of the August 6 missile incident.
The OSCE Chairman-in-Office appointed Zuzul, a former Croatian foreign minister, as his personal representative for this particular issue last week.
On August 20 he met with officials in the Georgian Defense Ministry, as well as Davit Bakradze, state minister for conflict resolution issues. Zuzul will meet Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili on August 21.
He will also visit Moscow as part of his fact-finding mission this week.
