Burjanadze Briefs Foreign Diplomats over S. Ossetia

Georgian Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze met with foreign diplomats accredited in Georgia on June 5 and briefed them over the ongoing water crisis in the South Ossetian conflict zone.

Speaking before the meeting in Parliament, Burjanadze said that it was ?an artificially created problem.?

?We understand very well that Sanakoev [the head of the Tbilisi-loyal provisional administration of South Ossetia] is making Kokoity [South Ossetian secessionist leader] anxious. We will do our best to avoid any provocations in the conflict zone? Uncivilized behaviour in cutting water supplies is not characteristic of us,? Burjanadze said on June 5.
