Georgian Officials Discuss Reforms, Conflicts at NATO HQ
The North Atlantic Council (NAC) meeting in the 26+1 format was held at NATO HQ in Brussels on May 16, where the Georgian side presented an updated version of Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP), the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
The Georgian delegation was represented by Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili, State Minister for Euro-Atlantic Integration Issues Giorgi Baramidze and Deputy Defense Minister Batu Kutelia.
A wide range of issues related to IPAP implementation, conflict resolution and ongoing reforms were discussed.
?The Allies once again expressed their support for the comprehensive reform process in Georgia,? the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
Prior to the NAC meeting, Georgian officials held talks with NATO Secretary General Jaap De Hoop Scheffer.
