S. Ossetian PM Slams Tbilisi’s Initiative on Administrative Entity

The prime minister of breakaway South Ossetia, Yuri Morozov, said on April 28 that President Saakashvili’s initiative on creating a provisional administrative entity in South Ossetia had no future.

“The Constitution of Georgia does not include a provision regarding a provisional administrative entity and this initiative will prove unsuccessful,” the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee quoted Morozov as saying.

He said the president’s initiative was “staged by American special services and aims at splitting Ossetian society.”

“However, our people are wise. They understand that they [the Sanakoev-led alternative government] are puppets ruled from Tbilisi. I think that all this will end very soon, not later than autumn, because this clownery has no prospects,” Morozov said.
