Foreign Minister Wants Talks with Russian Counterpart on Kodori

Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili said after an emergency session of the National Security Council that he wants to discuss the situation in upper Kodori Gorge in a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.

He also said that Tbilisi will provide comprehensive information to the international community and ?our partner countries? about the shelling in upper Kodori Gorge villages late on March 12. Bezhuashvili declined to make further comments.

Reports say that the President?s press office plans to disseminate a taped address of President Saakashvili made at the National Security Council session.
