Security Council Discusses Kodori

President Saakashvili summoned an emergency session of the National Security Council to discuss developments in the Tbilisi-controlled upper Kodori Gorge in breakaway Abkhazia after reports that villages there had been shelled.

President Saakashvili arrived back in Tbilisi from Kazakhstan, where he made a stopover after a working visit to Japan, on March 12.
