S.Ossetian Leader Visits Moscow
Leader of breakaway South Ossetian Eduard Kokoity unleashed criticism of Tbilisi at a news conference in Moscow on February 16, accusing Georgia?s authorities of mounting tensions in the conflict zone.
?A special task force, which is not fully under subordination of Georgian Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili, is stirring tensions in the conflict zone? Georgia is also using mercenaries for provocations,? Kokoity said.
He was speaking at a news conference organized by the Russian state-run newspaper Rossiiskaya Gazeta.
The Foreign Ministers of breakaway South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Murat Jioyev and Sergey Shamba, respectively, are also in Moscow.
